1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Market & People Logistics services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms represent the entire agreement between you and M&P Logistics and supersede any other agreements or understandings.

2. Service Description

M&P Logistics provides international and domestic shipping, customs brokerage, warehousing, and related logistics services. Service details including pricing, delivery options, and service areas are available on our website.

3. Customer Responsibilities

• •Provide accurate and complete shipment information for pickup and delivery
• •Ensure goods are properly packed to prevent damage during transit
• •Ensure the recipient is available to receive goods at the designated address and time
• •Bear responsibility for storage fees if shipments are not collected within 5 working days of arrival
• •Accept full responsibility for return shipping costs if a shipment cannot be delivered
• •Inspect goods upon receipt and notify us of any damage within 48 hours

4. Prohibited Items

You may not ship items that are illegal, dangerous, or restricted by law, including but not limited to explosives, hazardous materials, counterfeits, firearms, or any items that violate local or international regulations. M&P Logistics reserves the right to refuse shipments containing prohibited items without liability.

5. Delivery Timeline & Estimates

Delivery dates provided are estimates and may change due to factors beyond our control, including weather, traffic, customs delays, airline operations, or other unforeseen circumstances. We are not liable for delays caused by these external factors. Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery addresses.

6. Inspection & Customs Clearance

• •M&P Logistics reserves the right to inspect shipments without prior notice
• •You must inspect goods at receipt and confirm their condition before departure
• •Government agencies (NAFDAC, NDLEA, Customs, Police) may inspect shipments during transit
• •M&P Logistics is not liable for inspections or delays caused by regulatory authorities
• •Any customs duties, taxes, or regulatory fees are the responsibility of the recipient

7. Payment Terms

• •Payment must be made in full before service commencement unless otherwise agreed in writing
• •Additional fees (customs duties, taxes, storage) are the customer's responsibility
• •Failure to pay may result in service delays or cancellation
• •M&P Logistics will pursue legal action to recover unpaid amounts
• •No refunds are issued for excess payments—customers must pay the exact quoted amount

8. Liability & Limitation

M&P Logistics's liability is limited to the declared value of the shipment. We are not liable for delays caused by factors outside our control, including natural disasters, weather, regulatory delays, airline issues, or third-party service providers. By using our services, you acknowledge and accept these limitations.

10. Third-Party Carriers

M&P Logistics partners with reputable international carriers to expand delivery coverage. While we work with these partners to ensure quality service, we do not assume full liability for their actions. Any issues arising from third-party carrier operations are handled through our established partnerships.

11. Force Majeure

M&P Logistics shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, wars, terrorism, pandemics, strikes, government actions, or other unforeseeable events. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to mitigate impact and notify customers.

12. Communication & Notifications

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of important updates via email, SMS, WhatsApp, or phone. You are responsible for providing accurate contact information. Failure to receive notifications due to incorrect contact details does not absolve your obligations.

13. Service Modifications & Termination

M&P Logistics reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate services at any time with notice. We may also refuse service to customers who violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through negotiation or legal proceedings in Nigerian courts.
